B1A4‘s Sandeul revealed he was once mistaken for a delinquent student after his debut.
B1A4 featured as guests on another fun filled episode of ‘Shindong’s Shimshimtapa‘ on the 13th and Sandeul shared, “I recently attended a guitar academy while keeping quiet about being an idol singer, but I was mistaken as a delinquen student because I dyed my hair”, revealing that his dyed hair, which is usually not allowed or frowned upon in schools, got him in trouble.
“I arrived with my dyed hairstyle and CNU‘s expensive guitar and the teacher started interrogating me asking, ‘Where did you get that expensive guitar?’ I answered, ‘I brought the guitar of my friend who is a composer’, and got away with it. But after that incident, I missed a week of class at the academy because of my overseas schedule and I was mistaken as a trouble making delinquent by my teacher. However, right before this album comeback, I revealed the truth about everything and cleared up all the misunderstanding. {NEWS} B1A4, 2PM - Lee Hyo Ri’s chase begins, proclaims for high rank on music chart (06.05.2013)
Group B1A4 entered the high ranks on music charts with their new track “What’s going on?”.
B1A4 released their latest tracks on the same day with the outstanding senior singers (Lee Hyo Ri, 2PM) and swept the charts along with their seniors. At 2pm, B1A4 recored #3 on Bugs, #3 Soribada, #4 Nate Music, #10 Melon.
In this showdown which became a hot topic to officials of KPOP and music fans, and B1A4 is showing their power as a rising powerful group. They are receiving attention as to who will become the winner of the trophy on music programs and battle for the first place.
To perfectly fit the name of their title track from this album “What’s going on?”, B1A4 is officially starting their album promotion by online live broadcasts through Google, Youtube and plans to meet their fans from 70 countries.

Lee Hyo Ri, 2PM and B1A4 released their new albums at the same time, informing the start of the KPOP War of May. B1A4 has a solid and strong young fangirls and since Lee Hyo Ri and 2PM has released their album after 3 and 2 year hiatus, they are receiving soaring attention. They share a common factor- they are all receiving high attention but the musical colors they seek were different. Lee Hyo Ri picked acoustic minus all colorful techniques, 2PM picked 1990s style dance genre while B1A4 tried to win the hearts of the music fans with track that emphazied the emotions of a young boy.
◆B1A4 ‘What’s going on?’
Title of their album, as well as their title track “What’s going on?” is composed and written by leader Jinyoung. It also portrays B1A4’s new adventure. The constantly changing melody of the track is impressive.
Since they are a group that leads young fangirls, they solved the sensitivity of parting from a young boy’s perspective. The track holds a parting story but with light melody and rap, they continued the emotions of youth. The dramatic comments that appears at times creates an unusual fun. Also making it addictive by repeating the point lyrics of the song “What’s going on?/On such beautiful day”.

{NEWS} Popular webtoon ‘Miseng’ to be made into a short film
Newsis announced that ‘Miseng’, a popular webtoon in the Daum community, will be produced as a mobile short film.
Lim Siwan from ZE:A acts as ‘Jang Geurae’, a main character, and there will be appearances from Lee Changmin from 2AM,Baro from B1A4, Jo Heebong, Kim Bora and many more in this short film.
Son Taegyeom and Kim Taehee, who are under 30 years old and haven’t debuted with a long movie, are going to direct this film. Min Yeji, the writer, composed sequels for 6 characters from ‘Miseng’.
Each character will have their own episode, and the series will have a total of 6 episodes. They will start recording on the 7th, and the first chapter will be aired via Daum App, Daum’s mobile portal, on the 24th. You can check outMisenghere

According to newsis, Baro is including as one of the cast in “Miseng” short movie along with ZE:A’s Siwan and 2AM’s Changmin.
There’ll be 6 short movies, the first recording will be starting on 7th May, then the 1st ep will be aired on 24th May. They will air 1 ep per week.
‘Miseng’ is a webtoon, which first aired last year on the Daum portal site and became an instant hit among netizens. The popular web series will now be revived into a 10-minute film.

B1A4 met with a patient who has an incurable disease and gave him hope and courage for life while making his wish come ture.
In order to make the wish of Shin Heewon (M, 12 years old), which was to meet B1A4, come true, Make-a-Wish Korea created an event on May 2nd, where they invited B1A4 as a surprise.
After having kids in his elementary school make fun of his limping, Shin was deeply hurt and was afraid of making friends. He currently is against receiving rehabilitation training after finding out what kind of illness he has.
But if there are friends to Shin, it would be the B1A4 members. The Make-a-Wish volunteers believed that Shin would change his mind about receiving rehabilitation treatment if he met B1A4, so they explained the situation to B1A4 and created a meeting.
Shin, who met with B1A4 for the first time on the 2nd in a family restaurant in Yangjae-dong, couldn’t hide his shock and touched feelings, and he started to ask things he was curious about as time passed.
Once Shin asked, “What do you do when you feel distressed?” and B1A4 answered, “When we feel distressed, we try our best to enjoy that situation. Just as much as we’re doing something we wanted to, we regain strength by listening to a fun song or our songs.” When Shin said that his school life was difficult, but he was able to create a common point of interest with friends who liked B1A4 as well, B1A4 created laughter by saying, “That’s right, use hyungs.”
Besides this, B1A4 gifted a personally signed headset, clothes, and a CD, and stated, “The hyungs’ wish is for Heewon to diligently receive treatment. We hope that you would only think positively and gain confidence.”
Shin, who normally enjoys drawing, created a friendly mood by gifting drawings of Sandeul and Baro that he personally drew himself.
B1A4, who had a short meeting with Shin, shared their thoughts by saying, “Although we came to give strength, we feel like we’re the ones leaving here with strength. We were deeply touched after seeing how many people worked to make one child’s wish come true. We will always cheer on Heewon, whom we met through this fate.”
Meanwhile, Make-a-Wish foundation, which has its headquarters in Pheonix in America, is the largest wish granting corporation for granting wishes of children with incurable diseases and giving them hope, courage, and happiness in life.

On April 26th, an official of “Infinity Challenge” revealed, “On the 25th, a total of around 50 idols including Shinee, 4 Minute, Secret, Girl’s Day, Teen Top, B1A4,and After School gathered at 88 Gymnasium (Seoul, Gangseo-gu) to record “Infinity Challenge”.”

In the revealed teaser photos B1A4 expressed unique and matured concept that is different from their young boyish image and increased their fans’ excitement and anticipation for their new album
